Black Cabin

I designed this property in the Waitaki Valley (one of our own) as deluxe accommodation for guests riding the Alps 2 Ocean cycle trail. The cabin is clad in NZ larch with copper corner soakers and was configured as a one-bedroom, one bathroom studio with open-plan kitchen and living. It is wheelchair-accessible. Four guests in total could be accommodated by utilising the custom sofas in the living area, which converted to single beds.

The garden was designed to offer a charming retreat for guests, celebrating local flora and exuberant summer colour.
